Non vorrei passare per la classica blogger spammona che rompe l'anima in ogni dove sul web per farsi votare. Però il mio outfit a tratti banale è stato scelto tra i 20 finalisti del concorso di Zalando "Fashion no Limits" e cosa incredibile potrei anche vincere grazie ai vostri like su Facebook. Non voglio buttarla sul pietismo ma visti i tempi bui un po' di fortuna e scarpe gratis mi farebbero proprio bene all'anima. Se l'outfit vi piace basta un like qua sopra. Ok I didn't love so much this movie, but I'm taking stupid pictures of my feet since I remember I took a camera in my hands. So this Charlotte's quote is so me! Though I'm not done with this phase, you know.

I took this pic in a chilly summer night. When I walk I always use to watch my steps, yes I'm a shy and insicure person so what? You can have many assets from that, such as banknotes, coins and green tubes!

Non che io abbia particolarmente amato Lost in Translation, ma mi fotografo sistematicamente i piedi da che mi ricordo di aver preso in mano una macchina fotografica e questa battuta di Charlotte mi rappresenta in pieno. A parte il fatto che la fase fotografica in cui ci si fa foto stupide ai piedi ancora non mi è passata!

Questa foto l'ho fatta una sera d'estate insolitamente fresca, avevo voglia di sole e ho deciso di mettere questi sandali bassi colorati. Li ho presi un paio di anni fa con i saldi e anche se possono non piacere sono talmente comodi che li metto sempre volentieri.
Quando cammino tendo a farlo a testa bassa, non ci vuole uno psicologo per avanzare ipotesi sulla mia timidezza e insicurezza, ma per strada ho sempre preferito guardarmi i piedi e non incrociare lo sguardo di nessuno. I vantaggi di guardare sempre per terra sono diversi, oltre a scontrarsi con cartelli stradali o Mirko dei Bee Hive, si possono evitare perfettamente le cacche di cane e anche fare incontri interessanti con banconote, monetine e tubi verdi.

Come direbbe qualcuno: "Poche pippe!" A chi non piacerebbe vincere 3600€ da spendere in scarpe? Di questi tempi poi! Per avere questa possibilità (remota ok, ma tentar non nuoce) bisogna creare un look scegliendo tra i capi che si possono trovare su zalando.it (qui per maggiori info sul concorso) e poi postarlo sul proprio blog o facebook (in questo caso però il buono che si può vincere è "solo" di 300€). Io ci provo. Non sono brava negli abbinamenti purtroppo, non potrei di certo mettermi a fare la stylist insomma, ma partendo dalle scarpe ho creato un look che sfrutto molto anche io nelle serate più fresche.

Gli stivaletti in pelle molto semplici sono di Guess. Strano perché in genere questa marca propone calzature non po' troppo pacchiane, ma questo modello è super versatile e dalla linea non troppo aggressiva. I biker che ormai si sono visti in tutte le salse sono di Jette Joop, mi piacciono i dettagli delle catenelle sul collo del piede.

I prezzi ovviamente non sono per le mie tasche al momento, ma nel caso (super remoto ok) dovessi vincere...farei presto a spendere il premio!

Shoes closet by Ikea

After this post and still hesitant about what to do (arranging my space it's not my thing you know), I started to flip through the new Ikea catalogue and finally at page 280 I found 4 pages about shoe-closets. Maybe at Ikea they understood that "where to stuff damn shoes" started to be a real problem in modern families!

Here you can find the catalogue, I'm not so thrilled about their solutions, but I think that the idea of the shoe-binary is really awesome (not so practical anyway) and the skubb shoes-box in purple is really cute and really handy. Hope to find my shoes arrangement before I will end up overwhelmed by shoes!

Dopo questo post qualche tempo fa e ancora indecisa sul da farsi (organizzare gli spazi non è decisamente il mio forte), inizio a sfogliare il nuovo catalogo Ikea e finalmente a pagina 280 trovo ben 4 pagine dedicate alle famose scarpiere. Sempre meglio di niente, gli altri anni mi sembrava ci fosse ancora meno spazio dedicato al grande tema delle scarpe (eh...), ma forse anche all'Ikea si sono accorti che in alcune case dove mettere le scarpe sta diventando una questione fondamentale per non accopparsi inciampandoci.

Qui potete trovare il catalogo, a dire il vero le soluzioni che propongono non mi sembrano proprio il massimo, però l'idea dei binari con le scarpe appese dai tacchi è molto carina anche se poco replicabile e le scatole skubb in lilla (o nero, tempo fa c'erano solo in bianco e non mi hanno mai convinto) con la finestrella per vedere le scarpe che ci sono dentro mi sembrano una soluzione pratica e un compromesso esteticamente valido.

Chissà se prima di farmi sommergere dalle scarpe troverò anche io l'idea per avere una sistemazione decente in casa!

My golden bow shoes

Those shoes are so old I can't remember when I really bought them. I just remember that I didn't even notice them in the store, my bf just said: "what if you try those? I like them". I just said "ok" and tried them on. I really wasn't so convinced about them. Too "bon ton" and girly for my style. Well, after many years I can say that those shoes still are one of my best purchases. If I don't want to look like a candy I just style them with a jeans and a t-shirt. I love to look like a girl in the bottom and a boy on the upper part.

Ps. Yes, just because I love those sandals and they are comfy too, I tried my first "two steps with heels in the outside" with those shoes...and it feels so damn good!

Queste scarpe sono così vecchie che non mi ricordo nemmeno quando le ho comprate. Ricordo solo che in negozio non le avevo nemmeno notate, quando il mio ragazzo disse: "perché non provi queste? Mi piacciono". A quel punto dissi solo "ok" e le provai. Non è che fossi molto convinta di queste scarpe, troppo "bon ton" e "da brava ragazza" per i miei gusti. A quanto pare mi sbagliavo, dopo tanti anni queste scarpe sono ancora uno dei miei acquisti migliori. Se non voglio sembrare una caramella le indosso con dei jeans e una t-shirt.
Ps. Finalmente ho anche fatto i miei due o tre passi (davvero di numero, in questo caso sedersi per terra è stata una necessità) in giro con i tacchi e ho scelto queste scarpe per farlo, sono un tacco 9, non proprio basso, ma sono più comode di quello che sembra e anche il mio piede destro visibilmente acciaccato non ne ha sofferto.

My blue navy flats

Ok. I still can't wear heels, my foot still hurts, so for an evening walk in the city I still have to wear flats. I try to not think about how many months I've been not walking on my heels and I'm trying to take the best of my flat shoes. I think that a pair of blue navy flats are a must have. I bought those with the same flats in beige a couple of years ago and I almost consumed them. They are so comfy and simple that I can wear them with quite everything all day long.

Ok. Non posso ancora camminare su di un bel paio di scarpe col tacco, il piede mi fa ancora male, quindi per una passeggiata serale in città devo ancora indossare scarpe basse, ergo ballerine. Cerco di non pensare a quanti cavolo di mesi sono che non cammino a tot cm da terra, ma cerco comunque di prendere il meglio dalle mie scarpe basse. Penso che un paio di ballerine blu navy siano un must have da sempre. Io le ho comprate qualche anno fa, insieme ad un altro paio uguale, ma in beige. Queste ballerine in suede blu ormai le ho consumate, sono così comode e semplici che posso metterle praticamente con tutto a tutte le ore del giorno.

Those kind of shoes. I know they are one of that "love it or hate it". This Emilio Pucci A/W collection to me is simply beautiful. I love the absence of platform and the low-cut. I love also the three straps on the ankle and the velvet. And yes, the strong shape of the heel too. Ok. I simply love those shoes and boots. No matter about hot summer days, if only I could have those shoes for the autumn I would say "ok take me to the winter NOW!".

So che questo tipo di scarpa è tra quelle che "o la ami o la odi". Ecco, tutta la collezione di Emilio Pucci per il prossimo autunno/inverno secondo me è semplicemente bellissima. Amo l'assenza di platform e la scollatura della tomaia. Amo anche i tre laccetti sulla caviglia e il velluto. E sì, anche la forma decisa del tacco. Ok, semplicemente amo tutti i dettagli di queste scarpe e di questi stivali. Non mi interessa se fa un caldo allucinante, se solo potessi avere queste scarpe per l'autunno direi "ok speditemi dritta nell'inverno ADESSO!". E dire che io sono una di quelle che odia il freddo e vorrebbe che fosse sempre primavera!

My black gladiators

These gladiators are the best gladiators I have. They are really comfy and even now that my right foot is still swollen they fit me very well. They are from Dorothy Perkins. A couple of years ago I usually found something nice on this site, now I can't find anything anymore.

Anyway, I'm a little bit shy about my feet, I think they are not so nice to show but, you know, I can't show you boots on summer, so you have to be patient till next autumn :)

Questi "sandali da gladiatore" sono i migliori che ho. Sono comodi e anche adesso che il mio piede destro è ancora gonfio mi calzano perfettamente. Sono di Dorothy Perkins. Fino ad un paio di anni fa trovavo sempre qualcosa di carino su questo sito, ma ultimamente non riesco a trovare più niente.

Dato che questa è anche la mia prima foto in cui si vedono meglio i miei piedi vi dirò che mi vergogno un bel po'. Non penso di avere dei bei piedi da mostrare, ma dato che in estate non posso farvi vedere i miei stivali, dovrete accontentarvi fino al prossimo autunno :)

Loving shoes, having a blog about shoes, and having your feet and ankle broken is not the best for you and your passion! I'm sorry if I can't update as I want, I have so many shoes (most are heels!) to let you see. Having my feet and ankle broken doesn't mean I didn't buy shoes in these 3 months of pains! In times like these I just wore Converse and flats. I like those kind of shoes anyway, but I think heels just recover your soul and I miss them so much! Hope I can wear them again before the end of the summer.

Amare le scarpe, avere un blog incentrato sulle scarpe, e rompersi un piede e slogarsi una caviglia non è proprio il massimo per chi come me ha questa passione! Mi dispiace se non posso aggiornare il blog come vorrei, avrei così tante scarpe da postare (la maggior parte ovviamente hanno il tacco!). Avere il piede e la caviglia ancora gonfi infatti non mi hanno certo impedito di comprare scarpe in questi tre mesi di dolori! Di questi tempi purtroppo ho indossato solo Converse e scarpe basse. Mi piacciono molto queste calzature per carità, ma penso che poter mettere i tacchi faccia bene all'anima e mi manca così tanto vedere il mio piede dentro un bel paio di sandali alti. Spero di poterli indossare ancora almeno entro la fine dell'estate!

So I'm one of those maniacs who cleans her shoes after wearing them. I hate shoes scattered in every angle of the house. I think that our shoes deserve a better deal to be in the best shape along the years! Right now I admit my shoes don't have a real place in the house, yes every shoe is in its case but I want to find a decent shoes closet for my shoes.

I found online those pics to get some inspiration, what do you think? I think I will go to Ikea where I've already seen something nice but if you have any idea I would be happy to hear it!

Ebbene sì sono una di quelle maniache che una volta a casa dopo aver tolto le scarpe appena indossate le pulisce e le ripone nella propria scatola. Se c'è una cosa che non sopporto sono le scarpe buttate a cavolo di cane nelle scarpiere, negli armadi o addirittura negli angoli di casa o sotto il letto! Penso che anche le nostre scarpe meritino un posto in casa tutto per loro.

Al momento però ammetto che anche le mie scarpe sono sparse un po' in tutti i buchi, sempre ognuna nella propria scatola, ma non hanno assolutamente un posto degno di questo nome. Oltre a rovinarsi il tacco o la tomaia, un altro effetto collaterale di non avere un armadio per le scarpe è anche il non rendersi conto effettivamente di quante scarpe si hanno e anche scegliere il modello da indossare diventa difficile.

Con l'obiettivo di dare una degna collocazione alle mie scarpe sto cercando online foto di scarpiere-armadio a cui ispirarmi e per ora ho trovato queste (certo non posso ispirarmi alla scarpiera-armadio di chissà quale vip). Chiaramente quando poi avrò deciso andrò all'Ikea, dove ho già visto qualcosa che potrebbe fare al caso mio. Se anche voi avete idee da propormi ne sarò felice!

This is a memory picture. Those are a pair of memory shoes. I know for you it is just "a picture", but to me means a lot. Shoes are by Sergio Rossi and reminds me of one of my best days of my life. I love this car too. I have a passion for shoes you know, but sometimes I love to take a look at cars too. That's because this picture is "more cars and less shoes". I have a crush for red shoes and I think every woman must have one pair of red shoes, such as a little black dress. What about you? How are your red shoes?

Questa è una foto-ricordo. Queste per me sono scarpe-ricordo. So che per voi è solo una foto, ma per me significa molto. Le scarpe sono di Sergio Rossi e mi ricordano uno dei giorni più belli della mia vita. Ormai conoscete la mia passione per le scarpe, ma qualche volta mi piace anche "dare un occhio" alle macchine e questa è una delle mie preferite. Per questo nella foto si vede di più la macchina delle scarpe. Credo che ogni donna debba avere almeno un paio di scarpe rosse nella propria scarpiera, così come ogni donna dovrebbe avere il classico "little black dress" nel proprio armadio. Cheap & Chic (kind of): Colored Flats

Spring broke out and it's time to wear colored and open shoes. Due to my feet and my back conditions (which are like a 90 years old lady) as I said I have to forget my heels for a little time. I'm now laying into flats. I've always liked them, even before I had a couple of bones broken. I wish I had one flat for every colors, but right now I think I will buy a green one. What do you think?

La primavera è scoppiata ed è ora di mettere scarpe colorate e aperte. Vista la condizione del mio piede e della mia schiena da 90enne come dicevo i tacchi per un po' me li scordo. Sto quindi buttandomi sulle ballerine, che ho sempre apprezzato anche prima di avere delle ossa rotte e che ora dovrò per forza sfoggiare più spesso. Ne vorrei un paio per ogni colore, anche se credo che per ora mi butterò sul verde. Che dite?

As I do for myself I always start a new outfit for me from the shoes. So I choose those sandals for the Zalando.it contest because I think they are the perfect binomial of grace and aggressiveness. I know I'm not great in creating outfits. I always try to not put too many things on when I style myself because I fear the effect "too much". What do you think? Così come faccio per me stessa, quando devo scegliere cosa mettere parto sempre dalle scarpe. Eccolo qua! Il mio piede destro con il mio nuovissimo gesso. Ne sentivate il bisogno eh? Questa è anche la mia prima foto con una sola delle tante paia di Converse All Star che indosso da quando ero una ragazzina. Mi piacciono molto anche le righe, quindi ho messo un calzettone per sdrammatizzare (e coprire i mega lividi sulle ginocchia) mentre andavo a fare una passeggiata con la carrozzina :)

Corina di http://fabulousyougirl.blogspot.com mi ha gentilmente premiato con il Kreativ Blogger Award! Dato che ormai ho aperto questo blog da qualche mese mi sembra giusto cogliere questa occasione per dirvi qualcosa in più di me e le mie scarpe.

Here are 10 things about me and my shoes:

1. as I think you might have noticed I don't have anymore the count of how many shoes I have

2. I love colored shoes but when it's time to buy them I too often go on with black

3. unfortunately I do the same thing for garments too

4. after many doubts about the right number to take, now I love to shop shoes online

5. I'm not the kinds of girl I have to think much about a new pair of shoes. If they are a good quality/price rate I buy them and stop

6. when I buy shoes I'm often alone

7. when I put on the shoes I bought with someone special I always smile thinking about the time that "someone" said to me "please buy them!"

8. I'm not a fan of wedges, I think I just have one or two pair of them and never put them on

9. right now my shoes are not in a good arrangement, I can't wait to put them in the right space

10. when I have a new pair of shoes at home they are always my first choice when I have to go out (that's why I don't buy shoes out of season. I can't wait to wear them!)

Le regole infatti prevedono che chi riceve il premio debba citare 10 bloggers e avvisarli per il loro premio e raccontare 10 cose su di se. Dato che non non vorrei che nessuna si sentisse il dovere di seguirmi in questo "impegno" mi limito a dirvi 10 cose di me e le mie scarpe. Eccole:

1. come credo ormai avrete intuito ho perso il conto delle scarpe che ho

2. mi piacciono moltissimo le scarpe colorate, ma poi quando è ora di comprarle mi butto troppo spesso sul nero

3. faccio la stessa cosa anche per i vestiti purtroppo

4. passati i primi timori da qualche anno mi piace comprare scarpe anche (e forse soprattutto) online

5. non sono di quelle che ci pensa troppo prima di comprare un paio di scarpe. Se mi piacciono e hanno un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo le compro e basta

6. compro scarpe soprattutto da sola

7. quando metto le poche scarpe che ho comprato con una persona speciale sorrido sempre pensando al momento in cui mi sono state suggerite nel negozio

8. non sono una grande fan delle zeppe, credo di averne solo un paio o due che poi non ho mai messo

9. al momento le mie scarpe non hanno una degna sistemazione, non vedo l'ora di poter dare loro lo spazio che meritano

10. quando ho un nuovo paio di scarpe in casa sono sempre la mia prima scelta quando devo uscire (per questo faccio fatica a prendere scarpe "fuori stagione", perché poi vorrei metterle subito e non dover aspettare la stagione giusta!)

My blue petrol pumps

My last post is from 25th of March. The same day I had a bad car accident. A man with a pickup came against me. I was rushed to the hospital and my car must be scrapped. I also had my right foot broken, so I don't know when I will be able to wear my beloved heels again. I'm sad but, you know, I must thank my best Angel that I'm still alive and I'm very happy and very grateful for all the days I'm still given to live. Life is tough but it is still so wonderful.

I want to remember my feet and my shoes when they were ok with one of the last pic my new "angel on earth" took me before the accident. I just wore those heels once and I can't wait to wear them a lots of times!

Il mio ultimo post è del 25 marzo. Lo stesso giorno ho avuto un brutto incidente con la macchina. Un uomo con un camioncino mi ha tagliato la strada e mi è venuto addosso. Sono stata portata all'ospedale e la mia macchina è da demolire. Insieme ad altre conseguenze mi sono anche rotta un piede, quindi non so quando sarò in grado di nuovo di mettere i miei amati tacchi. Sono triste sì, ma devo ringraziare il mio Angelo migliore lassù che mi ha fatto sopravvivere e sono davvero felice e grata per tutti i giorni che mi verranno dati da vivere ancora. La vita è dura sì, ma è anche troppo meravigliosa.

Voglio ricordare il mio piedino sano e le mie amate scarpe con una delle ultime foto che il mio nuovo "angelo in terra" mi ha fatto prima dell'incidente. Ho indossato questi tacchi solo una volta e non vedo l'ora di poterli mettere ancora tantissime volte!

Kylie Minogue is a great woman and a great artist, I think everyone knows her. Although I don't like so much her music, I recognize she has a great talent. She's petite like me and wears the same shoes number like me. Kylie...can we swap our shoes? :) I found out from her twitter account @kylieminogue that she likes taking pictures of her shoes too (and what super shoes!), just like me! I suddenly loved her! Don't you?

I found those boots in a shoe shop where I go without any hope to find something that fits my desires. This time I wanted something zipped and I found it there. Strange. The ones that follow this blog would know for sure that to me a metal detail is enough to catch my attention and on 90% of times to make me buy this item :)

Ho trovato questi stivaletti in un negozio di scarpe in cui quando entro lo faccio sempre senza nessuna speranza di trovare qualcosa per i miei gusti. Stavolta avevo voglia di qualcosa con le zip e stranamente l'ho trovato. My studded ankle boots

I bought those ankle boots a grey winter morning when I was going to the doctor. Unfortunately that morning was also market day and for a little price I came home with those studded boots. I like them although they are a little cheap not just for the price but for the look too. So I tried to take a good picture with my special assistant and his gift for my camera. Here I just want to thank him because I think this picture came out better than the boots :)

Ho comprato questi stivaletti una grigia mattina d'inverno mentre stavo andando dal dottore. Purtroppo quella mattina era anche giorno di mercato e per poco prezzo ho portato a casa questi stivaletti borchiati. Devo dire che mi piacciono anche se oltre ad essere "cheap" nel prezzo lo sono anche un po' nel look. Così ho cercato almeno di fare una bella foto con il mio assistente speciale e il suo regalo per la mia macchina fotografica. Direi che lo devo proprio ringraziare soprattutto in questo caso perché la foto è sicuramente molto più bella degli stivaletti dal vivo :)

People at fashion weeks are always in a hurry. They run from a show to another and it's quite impossible to immortalize their feet! At least this is what I thought when I tried to take pictures to the wonderful shoes I saw at the last fashion week in Milan.

I'm sorry but it's so cold I can't think anything to post but those awful boots. They are not even UGG but I found them on asos.com and they are comfy and warm too. I've been hating them for years now and I still don't like them, but on winters I'm always so cold that I decided to buy and wear them anyway. Is there someone who really likes them? How do you combine style and comfort when it gets so cold?

Chiedo scusa ma è così freddo che non riesco a pensare a nient'altro da postare che questi orribili stivali. Non sono nemmeno gli UGG ma li ho trovati su asos.com e anche loro sono comodi e caldi. Ho odiato per anni questo tipo di stivali e ancora non mi piacciono, ma d'inverno ho sempre così freddo che ho deciso di comprarli e indossarli lo stesso. C'è qualcuno a cui davvero piacciono? I don't do it on purpose, but since I was an adolescent I loved studs, small chains, zips and everything you can see metallic on garnments or shoes. I think that a metallic detail completely represents my style and me. I know that zips are from the past collections, but I've always loved them and still love them. I don't care much about the trends. I have zips everywhere: jackets, t-shirts, jeans and I love to find them on shoes too! I know that you can love it or hate it. Do you like them?

Come forse avrete capito a me piace molto il dettaglio in metallo. Non posso farci niente, ma da quando ero un'adolescente amo le borchie, le catenelle, le cerniere e tutto ciò che nell'abbigliamento e nelle scarpe è di metallo. Penso che una piccola dose di metallo addosso rappresenti in pieno il mio stile e me. So che la "novità" delle cerniere non è certo di questa stagione, ma a me sono sempre piaciute e ancora mi piacciono. Anche se non sono il trend del momento. Ho cerniere ovunque ormai: giacche, magliette, jeans e ovviamente vorrei trovarmele anche nelle scarpe! So che dettagli di questo tipo o si amano o si odiano. A voi piacciono?

Those days are grey and black, just like this pic. The sun isn't shining since...I don't really know! Holidays are over, you gotta restart working and studying, no more dinners or parties, right? Anyway, we still have soldes on our way and we have to start thinking about next summer! I just can't wait the day I will put again my naked feet in my sandals and I will go on the beach to feel again the sand under my skin. In days like these, this is my only obsession!

Questi giorni sono grigi e neri, proprio come questa foto. Il sole non splende da...non mi ricordo da quanto! Le vacanze sono finite, devi ricominciare a lavorare e studiare, niente più cene o feste, vero? Comunque, abbiamo dalla nostra parte i saldi e dobbiamo iniziare a pensare alla prossima estate! I choose this picture to wish you all the best for the new year because those shoes are not wonderful, but are one of those I keep in my heart for what they mean to me.

Those are the shoes I graduated with. I didn't wear them with those tights though, I am a really shy person so I wore them with a balzer and elegant trousers :)

With those shoes I want to wish you to reach all the targets you plan to reach in 2011 and I wish you to get lots of satisfaction from this, on lots of features of your life.

My Asos Shearling Boots

From the last selection of boots I posted, one month ago I got those Asos shearling boots and I just love them. Heel is 11.5 cm (4.8 inches) which to me is simply perfect because it's not too high to do long walks and they make me feel so tall! They are comfy and warm too. I couldn't wish more from a pair of shearling boots! :)

I wasn't able to choose what pic was best. What do you think? #1 or #2? :)

Il tacco è di 11.5 cm che per me è perfetto perché non è troppo alto per camminarci un po' sopra eppure mi fanno sentire una stanga! Sono comodi e anche caldi. Cosa voglio di più da un paio di stivaletti di (finto) montone? :)

The blog "How can u find?" found me when I was looking for the Sam Edelman Lorissa pumps, do you remember? I think it's a good idea to have a blog where you can share new hard to find with girls that ask or give an answer to your doubts!

My Pennyblack golden pumps

I bought these Pennyblack's golden pumps many years ago. I liked the triangle heel and the colour, which is kind of gold and brown. It seems like the shoes were painted. I still don't wear them so much, I can honestly say that I just wore them once or twice to go out. Well, I can say that they are one of those shoes that I own just for "collection" and just because I like to see them whenever I want. Hope you don't think I'm crazy :)

Ho comprato queste scarpe di Pennyblack dorate un po' di anni fa. Mi è piaciuto il tacco che termina in un triangolo e il colore, che è una sfumatura tra l'oro e il cioccolato. Sembra quasi che le scarpe siano state pitturate. A dire il vero non le porto molto, le avrò messe una volta o due per uscire. A posteriori posso dire che fanno parte di quelle scarpe che ho preso solo per "collezione" e solo perché quando le tiro fuori dalla scatola mi piace guardarle. Spero non pensiate che sono matta :)

Unfortunately the university new law has been just approved by the Parliament this evening. Let's still fight for a better future and don't give up. Purtroppo la riforma dell'università è appena stata approvata dalla Camera dei Deputati. Non arrendiamoci e continuiamo a sperare in un futuro migliore. Qualche settimana fa, un martedì come questo: buio, grigio e triste ho trovato questa pagina facebook. Miss Licia Pini con la sua energia mi ha subito incuriosita ad ascoltarla alla radio. Ho dei gusti un po' particolari in fatto di musica, ma mi è piaciuta subito! Blackout for public university in Italy

I went to public school and public university. I don't feel embarassed about it. Thanks to public university I had the opportunity to have an education, study the subjects I love and finally get my university degree. I'm so thankful for this chance and greateful to my parents who always supported me in my training. I'm writing that post because right now public university is called into question in Italy. I care so much about education, I think it's of primary importance. I hope that there will be a better future for students, professors and teaching fellows here in my country.

Ho fatto la scuola pubblica e l'università pubblica. Non mi vergogno di questo. Grazie all'università pubblica ho avuto l'opportunità di avere una formazione, studiare le materie che amo e infine ottenere la laurea. Sono molto grata per questa opportunità e ai miei genitori che mi hanno sempre sostenuta. Scrivo questo post perché in questi giorni l'università pubblica in Italia viene messa in discussione. Mi preme così tanto il tema dell'educazione, ritengo sia di fondamentale importanza. Spero che ci sarà un futuro migliore per gli studenti, i professori e i ricercatori di questo paese.

I love this kind of boots since the day I saw them for the first time. I think they are just completely in my style. There's nothing much to say. I simply love them. I've been searching for the perfect biker boots for 2 or 3 years now. And a couple of weeks ago I finally found them! You will see mine soon too :)

I've been busy these days. Weather is cold and rainy. Seems it's not the right time to take pictures but I promised to let you see my "everyday" shoes too. So here they are: my ugly everyday boots! Black, suede, no heels. Too bad! But I wear them to walk, to run when I'm late and yes, to go to the seaside on winter too. I have to see "my sea" at least once a month. On winters too.

In questi giorni sono stata molto occupata. Il tempo è brutto e piove. Non sembra essere proprio il momento migliore per fare foto, ma vi avevo promesso di farvi vedere anche le mie "scarpe per tutti i giorni". Quindi eccoli qua: i miei orribili stivali da maltrattare. Sono neri, di camoscio e non hanno il tacco. Li porto per camminare, correre quando sono in ritardo e anche per fare un giro tra un impegno e l'altro al mare. Devo vedere il "mio mare" almeno una volta al mese, anche e soprattutto d'inverno. Spero che gli stivali non vi facciano inorridire troppo! :)

To be honest, I don't like so much this photo. I don't understand if it's because of the photo composition, because of the light (from monday to friday when I'm at the office there's the sun, then saturday and sunday bye bye sun and welcome fog. I hate it!). Maybe it's just because of the shoes. I thought I liked them, but with these "military" tights and trousers I think they are not at their best. What do you think? Hope to do better when I will capture them next summer with naked feet! I just can't wait!

Non sono molto soddisfatta di questa foto sinceramente. Non capisco se sia per via della composizione della foto o per colpa della luce (dal lunedì al venerdì che sono chiusa in ufficio c'è il sole, poi il sabato e la domenica arriva la nebbia!) o forse è solo colpa delle scarpe. Pensavo che mi piacessero, ma con queste calze e questi pantaloni "militari" non mi convincono molto. Voi che dite? Penso sia soprattutto perché anche io sono di corporatura minuta e anche io ho i capelli castano scuro, così posso davvero prendere ispirazione da lei. Adoro il suo stile. In these days I'm not in the right mood. I don't feel very well and people going to the cemetery for the All Saints' Day make me sad. I do have too many people to remember yet who I won't see anymore on this world and I miss them so much.

I just started with this blog and it gives me the right motivation to go on! Thank You :)

I bought these ankle boots from Asos in the past weeks with -70% reductions.

I bought them in the same time with Myriam without knowing it :) I took them in taupe and she took them in brown. If you want to take a look at hers go here.

When I opened the shoes box suddenly I loved them. I like the colour and the metal closures.

The leather is really warm and they are kind of comfy to wear also to have a walk

and yes to throw the rubbish too :)

Oggi partecipo a questa iniziativa per la campagna contro il cancro al seno. Sono molto sensibile a questo argomento purtroppo, quindi non mi sento di esprimermi troppo. Spero solo che un giorno questa terribile malattia venga sconfitta. Nel frattempo sono fondamentali la prevenzione e i controlli che in tante situazioni possono già fare molto. Per avere maggiori informazioni andate qui. Ottobre è il mese della prevenzione.

Per quello che può servire ecco il mio contributo: un bel paio di sandali stringati rosa di Givenchy che nella stagione autunno/inverno 2009/2010 si sono fatti da me desiderare non poco.
